If you're like me, then you love tacos. In fact, I would venture to say that tacos are one of the most perfect foods ever invented. So when it comes to finding the best taco spots in the US, I take my job very seriously. After all, good tacos can make or break a day (or week). Here are my personal favorite taco spots in America – enjoy!

Taco Spot #1: La Taqueria

 Location: San Francisco, CA

 Why It's the Best: The tacos at La Taqueria are simple, but they're also some of the most flavorful and juicy I've ever had. Plus, the line is always out the door, which is a good sign in my book.

Taco Spot #2: Pueblo Viejo

 Location: Phoenix, AZ

 Why It's the Best: The tacos at Pueblo Viejo are huge – like, really huge. But they're also incredibly affordable, and the meat is always cooked perfectly. Plus, the restaurant has a great atmosphere.

Taco Spot #3: Taco-deli

 Location: Austin, TX

 Why It's the Best: The breakfast tacos at Tacodeli are out-of-this-world good. I'm talking bacon, eggs, avocado, and cheese all wrapped up in a soft tortilla. Plus, the coffee is always fresh and delicious.

Taco Spot #4: L&J Cafe

 Location: El Paso, TX

 Why It's the Best: L&J Cafe is a bit of a dive, but it's definitely worth checking out. The tacos are cheap and the meat is always cooked to perfection. Plus, the salsa bar is incredible.

 Taco Spot #5: Tacos El Gordo

 Location: San Diego, CA

 Why It's the Best: I'm a sucker for a good al pastor taco, and Tacos El Gordo definitely delivers. The pork is always cooked to perfection, and the pineapple salsa is the perfect finishing touch. Plus, the price is unbeatable.
